MyKind is a website for 18+ people looking to meet others, and where diversity and disability are welcome, accepted and celebrated. Anyone can sign up to meet like minds, chat and make friends. It's also a safe space for singles looking for a date.

Story

What is MyKind?

MyKind is more than a dating website. We provide the tools for the journey from chatting, blogging and friendships, to flirting, Skyping and dating.

Not everyone is comfortable flirting or dating when they’ve never done it before, so chatting, blogging and making friends in your own time is important. It’s all about you as a person, and your aspirations for the kind of relationship that works for you.

If you need a hand, we offer a match-making service where a human (not a computer) matches your profile to ‘like minds’.

All this makes MyKind kind of unique – a hybrid site that is neither chat or dating, neither mainstream or disabled. It's whatever you want it to be.

Our other HUGE point of difference is that it's free for the first 100 members to register on our website. After that we'll have to charge new members a small monthly fee, however, those funds will pay it forward.
We have a funding/donation/sponsorship programme to support individuals, family/whānau/aiga of people with disabilities, and not-for-profit organisations in the disability sector.
