Muriwai Golf Course

My absolute favourite links course in Auckland region. A challenging but fair golf course in excellent condition all year round. Yes the wind can add a massive challenge at times but that is the beauty of links golf. A must play course.

Attended venue for Christmas function. Staff were most obliging and view was excellent. Food was ok but there was lots of it. The staff went to great trouble making table decorations- which were not only fabulous but edible too. Enjoyed the venue.

I love playing this course! Hardly ever held up by other players so the starter is on the ball with times. Awesome staff in the clubhouse for food and beer as well.

Played in driving wind and 40km/h winds, absolutely amazing. Started the day with a nice big fry up from the restaurant, played 9 holes and came in for a coffee and to warm up. Back out, and the sun came out. Fairways were awesome, greens were true and fast. Definitely deserves its place in the top 20 in NZ.

First time playing this course. Received warm welcome even just turning up to play and joined up with local member for a round thanks Peter. Fantastic layout amongst the sand dunes making a stern challenge, especially with a sea breeze, though it wasn't too had according to my host! Although greens looked patchy they were in good condition and were quick and true. Clubhouse is highest point and adds to perfect end of a game.

Beautiful course - although it was tricky and annoying! That’s my golf playing not the courses issue ;. We had a cart and had a great day playing 18 followed by a beer in the club rooms. A really nice day out with friends

Beautiful golf course. Have played here many times over the years for both tournament and casual play and the standard is always fantastic. Never once been in below great condition. Holes 8,14 and 16 some of the best holes in new Zealand in my opinion with strategy required. Proshop staff also accomodating with a positive vibe to the facilities. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous golf course. Need some practice before I go back......it beat me up seriously.

Best golf course in winter very challenging and also gives you the chance to focus on your game, bunkers with black sand are unique also greens gives you the understanding how to read where the golf balls will stop lol

Great condition course, incredibly fun. I would however recommend booking a session with a mental health professional directly after your round. I am a broken man.
