We enjoyed the walk from the centre of Auckland Queen street winding our way through the streets. The climb up to the top of Mount Eden was steady because of the heat but well worth the effort. The views are amazing, especially looking over the harbour and marina. We walked back a different way picking our way through the streets and parks.
Close to Auckland City. Walk up to the top is easy. Beautiful views from the top. The crater is deep and can be seen very clearly.
Beautiful hill in not too far from Auckland City. I love the fact that I can view the city back from the mountain and it is a great place for sunset. The track is not difficult to walk up.
You need to be reasonably fit to enjoy this outing. Views are wonderful. Parking sometimes a problem.
