Mount Backpackers has exceptional staff, great rooms, and a nice environment.nnThe thing that matters in hostels are the people, and when me and my friends arrived, we made several connections and met wonderful people.nnI want to thank everybody for the time in MT BP, and their amazing staff - especially Miles and Brad G.nnIf you want to make long lasting connections and friends, go there.
Absolute gem, great location on the main strip where you can literally walk across the road to the bars, eateries etc...walking distance to the beach and Pilot Bay on the other side. Service was superb owner was very welcoming and made us feel at home. It was our first time staying at a backpackers for the event we went down for and we absolutely loved every moment of it, met some amazing people who also stayed at the hostel. Deff be back :
This is an amazing backpacker and located at the heart of the Mount. As a packer you will find everything that you need, right next to you. Beach bars, supermarket and restaurantsespecially Lolo all are just walking distance. Highly recommend . Regards to Jo the amazing boss
the owner is an absolute legend, i stayed 3 nights, buggered off and booked another night on the wrong day instead of the following night. the owner cut me a deal and let me stay in the spare room judging that everywhere else in town was fully booked. i know that a hotel or airbnb from experience wouldnt do the same.
Rooms are good and easy to find and have room for bag and wallplugs for phones ect.the staff are easy go and easy to talk to about day to day things and keep it looking pretty clean . Location right in the middle of most things walking distance e.g shop,Cafe and bars as well as the beach is also not to far to walk. Overall was a great place to stay a few nights.
