Rooms are good and easy to find and have room for bag and wallplugs for phones ect.the staff are easy go and easy to talk to about day to day things and keep it looking pretty clean . Location right in the middle of most things walking distance e.g shop,Cafe and bars as well as the beach is also not to far to walk. Overall was a great place to stay a few nights.
Nice cosy place in the centre of mount Maunganui. Close to the beach and the mount. Being on the main St make it a little noisy on the weekend. So probably try to ask for a room that don't face the street if are not planning to go out
the hostel has a great location, it’s near to the beach&shops. you can hire boards and wetsuits, that’s great too!nfor us, the hostel is a bit too small for the amount of people living there. Just one ,bigger‘ bathroom for all together with two sinks. The kitchen is also really small, so you should better avoid the peak times when the majority wants to cook.nmaybe this thing is just in the 4bed room dorm the case but we had the two upper bunks and the mattresses were so flat that we literally slept on the slatted frame, for 50$ a bit too pricey.
Good service on arrival, easy check in. Facilities were clean and basic. Rooms were small, cramped and so humid! There was no air con… Astrolabe across the road was loud on the weekends and open till late. Not a bad spot on the Mount though and in good location to get everywhere. Price was reasonable.
Nice hostel with great vibe and location. Amazing service from the receptionist, Will is the best!!!
