Opening hours: 10am to 10pm seven days per week. Note: Chipmunks Playland operate different hours from 9.30-5.30pm Sunday-Thursday and Friday-Saturday 9.30am- 7pm

Motion Entertainment at Lynmore Junction is the the largest all-age, all-weather entertainment centre of its kind in New Zealand and the newest addition to Rotorua's thriving tourism portfolio.

Situated on the main road, free car parking, great indoor fun park for all the family young and old, onsite cafe $ not expensive.. played a round of Ten Pin, Mini Golf and Dark Ride x2 this ride was a thriller must try @ least once
Good concept but not alot of value for money. Some arcade games not working or faulty air hockey wasnt blowing air or keeping score. Averaging $2.20 per game and last approx 10sec-2:00mins. Look to pay an average of $1:00 per minute of doing something. Only value for money would be Chipmunks playground at $16. No one wearing masks including staff
There were a variety of exciting arcades to choose from. The game cards were a reasonable price and after an hour or so, we redeemed our points for a small prize. We also tried out the bowling which was fun. I would recommend this place for a rainy day or for people with kids.
Has potential with lots of great activities for kids but the staff are all young and there doesn’t seem to be anyone in charge to manage the chaos. Trampoline had no one manning it, it was overcrowded and lots of near misses. Parents were there but we can’t be expected to tell other kids off. Back log in food meant people weren’t able to order cooked meals. The place just needs better systems and strong leaders, and maybe more staff - put the younger inexperienced people in sections of the complex for better health and safety and rotate.
Good time to go when it first opens to beat the crowd. The young lady who served us at the games and bowling area was nice and friendly. However the food area had no staff not even in the kitchen which you can see from the counter so couldn't be served. Still it was a nice fun visit.
A very good place to have fun and enjoy good moment with friends and family by any weather outside
Just had our sons 10th Birthday here and it was the best day. Everyone loved it, the staff were fantastic it made it very chill for me and not top expensive either. Thanks Motion for an unforgettable birthday party!
Bowling was below average, lane jammed many times so had to go to front desk for help, so did neighboring lane. Had young kids with me requiring the roll the ball down shoot, but hardly any available and had to share and very buckled, just terrible. Also balls are very old and not smooth at all, lots of gouges. Overall very disappointed and would not go again for the bowling

Had a fun day for my daughters 10th birthday here a week ago. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. We were coming from Hamilton and due to traffic issues in Rotorua with the half marathon, we were late, so they rejigged our whole day for us and when we got there the staff were really engaging with the children and super friendly. Only things that I thought let it down from a parents perspective mainly and the one paying the bill was the party room I thought was a bit meh. I was expecting it to be a bit more well set up with some party plates, and decorations and a bit more of a separate room, not just an area to the side with a gazebo over the top. When it says you pay for the hire of the party room for 2 hours, you're kind of expecting...well a nicely set up party room? The other thing is, the website doesn't really stipulate how the day will work, and that each activity has to be booked in for a certain time etc. Not that it's too much of a problem but we would've timed our arrival a bit differently had we known, it started on the hour of our booking. Also the cake that you pay $55 for is a bit over priced. I would say it's a $35 worth birthday cake. Nothing like from the Cheesecake Factory but more like a countdown chocolate cake from the bakery. Also it erks me a bit when these places tell you the price, then right at the paying end they say...oh and that's another $5 each per person for special socks that they "have" to wear. Like really do they "have" to have these special socks? Is it really a hygiene/safety issue or just an extra money making scheme that we as the customer can't argue with? So apart from the rant just now we had a great day and really enjoyed it. And staff were awesome, Just a few tips and bit if customer feedback for you :
