The place looks fun at first, but the games are generally very short – over before you really get into them. That kind of takes the fun out of it. A few machines also seem poorly maintained. For example, some don’t even show high scores, and the Wild West shooting game only had one of the two player stations working. Overall, it feels like more effort should go into maintenance and gameplay length to make the experience worth it.
Update - team have reached out and sounds like they are working hard to get things sorted and we were unlucky this visit. With the efforts being made to fix everything looking forward to having another go next time in Rotorua.nnThe arcade use to be so good but extremely disappointing now! About a dozen games out of order! Also basket ball, clowns, beanbag throw and skitter ball games all missing balls/bags only 1 to 3 on each so you lose time waiting for them to come back down! Sad to say it was a waste of money and time. Hopefully you can sort it out and give people a credit that have come in recent times with everything broken like this
Amazing place for kids!! We had a best time ever!! The package was amazing too!!
We went to the trampoline area only, on a Sunday morning in the middle of the school holidays, arriving 10:10 and so getting into the first of the hour-long sessions.nOur grandson was the only “customer” on the trampolines and got excellent attention, advice, demonstrations, interaction, and encouragement from the two young men on duty in this area.nAt 11:00, the multitudes arrived but our charge had had a good time and was ready to go, in body if not in mind.nIt was expensive $17.50 for the 6-year old but I could see the Overheads overhead, and the staff in attendance ready for the numbers to increase lad the day progressed.nWe were allowed in gratis to observe from an adjacent comfortable bench.nThe facilities seemed newly-constructed, so I wish them all the best for this venue, very suitable for a rainy day.
This is a fantastic place for all kinds of people! We went with 9 ladies for a hens do to the mini golf and had a great time. There is lots more to do as well, it would be perfect for kids during the school holidays or weekends. There is a cafe on site too with lots of food and drink optionsnWe will definitely be back next time we are in Rotorua!
