Great day for our youth group doing the Flip n Kick package! Fun had by all and staff were very helpful plus friendly!! Nothing was too much trouble and they were always smiling.
Plenty to do, good range of activities, and everything was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly, organised, and actually helpful, especially with kids and first-timers.nnThe space is well laid out so it doesn’t feel chaotic, even when it’s busy. Good energy without being overwhelming. Works well for families, groups, and kids with too much energy to sit still.nnEasy place to spend a few hours. We’d happily come back
We are travelling through the area and had some spare time to do some games here. The packages are all reasonably priced and lots of fun for both children & adults. We did the 10 pin bowling, Vortex & Mini Golf as main activities and all were lots of fun. A great spot for locals or tourists!
The place looks fun at first, but the games are generally very short – over before you really get into them. That kind of takes the fun out of it. A few machines also seem poorly maintained. For example, some don’t even show high scores, and the Wild West shooting game only had one of the two player stations working. Overall, it feels like more effort should go into maintenance and gameplay length to make the experience worth it.
Our group of five adults and one young child recently visited Motion Entertainment in Rotorua, and it was a great choice for a mixed-age outing.nWe spent most of our time at Lumberjax Mini Golf, which was a highlight—the 18-hole course has a fantastic 1850s logging town theme that made the game feel like a bit of an adventure. It offered just the right balance of fun and challenge for the adults while remaining very child-friendly.nWhile we stuck to golf, we took a look at the other facilities like the trampoline park, tenpin bowling, and arcade. Everything appeared well-maintained and clean, which isn't always the case with busy indoor centres.nIt clearly caters well to children with high-energy activities, but as adults, we didn't feel out of place and enjoyed the atmosphere.nIt’s a solid, reliable spot for a few hours of fun, especially if you're looking for an indoor option in Rotorua.
