This place is a gem and I don’t understand why is it so empty. The food is amazing!!! We got the paella and the lamb, and the lamb is so tender and delicious. And the baklava!!! Is really a standout!!! Do visit this place, it’s an underrated gem with delicious food and lovely people.Recommended dishesLamb Tagine

Quite disappointing. Especially compared to the Simo on Riccarton Ave. We had seafood chowder - very salty and just felt like eating cream.. not recommended. Also has Chicken on rice , prawn with couscous, meat tagine, platter for 2, chicken roll. Salad was stale and old in all of them as u can see for a Separate picture. The owner did give a bakalava for free which was also not worth it as was stale too. Total cost of food was 134.5$ Not worth visiting.
What a beautiful intro to Morrocan cuisine. My wife and I were looking for a fresh place to eat when we found this gem in Addington. Samuel, the manager welcomed us with a smile. The place smelled of delicious foods with their colourful dishes and desserts on display. Choosing what to order was a bit overwhelming since it’s our first time but Samuel was keen to help us with the menu and recommended his favourites which made it a lot easier, he even made us sample the couscous before deciding. We had their tender and tasty chicken kebab, and their lemon chicken and olive tagine in gravy and fragrant Arabic rice. Finally, we finished with their warm and sweet date pudding topped with caramel sauce. Ambience was good too, we liked the soft music playing in the background, the place looked and smelled clean. We enjoyed our first time eating here and we’re definitely coming back for their chicken kebab.
Ordered a selection of finger food for a work function to feed 40 people. Food was beautifully displayed, labelled for allergies and plenty. Recommend using Simo for catered events. Had multiple people commenting that they enjoyed the food.Food: 5/5
Absolutely fantastic. The place had a lovely atmosphere. The girl behind the counter was really chearful and friendly. We were starving so we ordered an absolute mountain of food which meant we got to taste so much of the delicious menu. We got a platter which was amazing, in particular the beef parcel. We had a lamb tagine which was spectacular. My partner had the wrap which although he enjoyed I thought it was the least tasty of the bunch even though it was still very nice and lastly we ordered a large salad and they very kindly let me try a bit of all the salads avaliable. I wasn't going to try the carrot and orange one but I'm so glad i got some as it was really flavourful and possibly my favourite of the salads I was given. I couldn't believe how relatively cheap what we got was when we were so full. I would highly highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxed, healthy and inexpensive flavourful meal. Thank you so much!
I had a great dinner in this restaurant and the waiters in the restaurant were very warm and friendly. The food in the restaurant is also delicious and the prices are very affordable. Among the surrounding restaurants, this restaurant's food tastes the best. I think I will return to this restaurant again, and I want to taste the food in this restaurant again.
What a Gem! Who said fast food had to be unhealthy? I want to try everything on the menu and everything we did try with delicious. The staff are lovely and very helpful when we were trying to choose what we wanted. No photos because I finished my food before I could even think about taking a photo . Potato salad and Morrocan chicken where the highlights for me. Will deffinetely be going back. Amazing food, very reasonable prices. Dined in recently usually get the takeaways and the staff were very attentive - great service. Recommend one of the platters with falafel. Thank you Samson and Moasic team!
