Heather at Mortgage Ladies and Co was incredibly helpful and responsive, especially when timelines got tight. She worked hard to secure good rates for me and was transparent in all her interactions. She was also great at working between myself as the client and the banks, stepping in as needed to support smooth communications between all the parties. She is empathetic and considerate of individual circumstances.
I came to know Heather from a friend’s recommendation as her whole family was raving about how Heather helped them restructure their mortgage saving them a lot of $$$. We contacted Heather with the plans of purchasing our first home as we are unsure of the things we need to do. We loved her as soon as we met her via Zoom and heard her plans for us we have already talked to few brokers but Heather is a standout!. We have attended multiple open homes and Heather navigated us on which property to choose considering value for money, good/ peaceful suburb, resale value in the future, condition of the property. Soon enough, we found the property we loved. Heather pushed all the way and set our ducks in a row within a week of us discovering the property. Heather and her wise team supported us from securing the valuation report, building inspection, up until the auction. The auction was even scheduled on Heather’s birthday but she attended and negotiated the auction for us I’ve heard that commonly brokers are not doing this! Talk about how dedicated and passionate she is!! Her pink stiletto has kicked every one’s a** on that day! After winning the property at an auction, she is still there guiding us our mortgagee structure and checking up on us frequently. We are now currently settling well on our first home on how liberating it is to have a house of our own!. We can’t thank Heather enough in helping us achieve this very important milestone in our life. If I am being selfish, I would not share Heather with anyone because that’s how amazing and wonderful she is. But I do not want to waste Heather’s incredible skills and talent so I am 200% recommending her if you are looking to buy your first home, investment property, or restructuring mortgage, she has it all covered for you just like one stop shop!
Heather from Mortgage Ladies & Co is literally Wonder Woman! Going to auction is pretty overwhelming for a first home buyer but Heather was there every step of the way, answering all our questions and offering incredible advice. Even though she was based in Auckland and we were buying in Christchurch, this didn’t affect her knowledge or communication with us. I’d highly recommend Heather to anyone buying a house. After 6 months of looking to buy a house I finally got the one; during all this time Heather provided an amazing support, she was all the time there for me to answer question, provide information and give me the right advise ; she went above the usual brokers service; she put me first rather that putting herself or her business first. Heather’s work ethic and professionalism are fantastic; she is honest and transparent and those are hard values to find these days in this industry! Heather was simply phenomenal throughout the entire process of buying or first home. We had a very tricky situation with my partners work contract that other brokers had said no. From the get go she assured us that we would be fine and that we would get our pre-approval. Heather worked her magic and sure enough we got it. She truly is an expert and assisted us with everything from building reports, LIMS, lawyers and so much more. If you need a broker, she is the one!
