Located in the beautiful Matakana, visit us for a coffee and stroll through our showroom brimming with handcrafted clay pots, homewares and tableware.

Story

Situated in the heart of Matakana Coast Wine Country, just 45 minutes north of Auckland, it is the ideal combination of art and craft destination and retail therapy.

Morris & James hand craft a range of individually styled pots, pottery, art, home ware and sculptural pieces. Many are one off 'Design Lab' works. The collection showroom & cafe are open 7 days.

FREE tour every day at 11.30am (groups of over 12 please call us to arrange).

Nice place with lots of great pottery
Fantastic we stopped in to the Cafe for a Coffee and muffin scrumptious and then were delighted to be offered a tour of the Pottery. What wonderful pottery!
Continues to be such a great place to visit. Love their creations and they have a nice place for the kids to play while we browse. Their cafe is nice too!
Excellent choice of very good meals. However the day we went, it was obvious that new staff we being trained on the till, and this however resulted in us not being acknowledged at all for a very long time while we just had to wait. It would have at least been nicer for the supervisor to first acknowledge us.

Lovely cafe situated in a garden setting, delicious food and good coffee. A hidden gem. Loved the pottery shop too, beautiful.
