Friendly staff, fast service at the checkout, they have a good selection of GF products, Also good selection of vegan and vegetarian ready made meals, they sell some really great vegan sausage, good luck thing about them is they don’t smell like real meat, It is cool to have a cafe in the middle of supermarket, grab a coffee and shop around, they sell really good vegan sausage rolls, in their cabinet area.
Moore was delightful, but Wilson... That Wilson is a troublesome fellow. I find him tiresome and would weep not at his funeral.
Fantastic knife sharpening service happens at Moore Wilsons Fresh between 11am & 12 noon, usually on the first Monday of every month. Wrap your blunt knives in a teatowel and rock up around 11am. Cost is $12 each or $11 for more than six knives.nnLove the variety of cakes to buy.nExcited to find a vegan one by Sixes & Sevens. It's tasted sooooooo yum & wasn't sweet.
Lots of food items not available elsewhere. Prices are reasonable especially considering the excellent quality It always seems busy, when we visited there were two vendors giving away samples-just the best olive oil and sparkling wine they weren't allowed to use that word that describes there products! We bought an excellent sourdough loaf, cheese, fig pickle, Panettone loaf that was the freshest I have bought in NZ. A highlight of visiting Wellington -don't miss visiting here!
You really have to know your wares if you want to get the real price for items.nThey stock a good range of 'Made in Japan' ceremics and other certain well renowned brands.nThe customer service is a real hit or miss also, siding more towards a miss. This, however, is purely isolated in the hardware department.nThe produce section is holding up all positive relations.
