I've been served 13th june 23 by a professional and lovely young lady offering a great service and being very friendly with my kids. And the ice-cream themselves were tasty and generously served. The - price to quality - ratio is actually good at Monte Gelato when you know that so many other places serve tasteless Tiptop "ice cream" in the cheapest cone possible for 7 or 8 dollars. All prices went very high these past few years, with suppliers price increase happening all the time. So it's normal for all prices to go up too.
This use to be our go to ice-cream business when visiting the Mount. However after the very mild, average butterscotch, baileys, white chocolate/berry flavours for our palettes plus what we consider overpriced for the serving sizes, we will probably not be returning. With no mocha choices available further added to the disappointment. $7 & $9 for 1 & 2 gelato scoops in cups respectively in our opinion is overpriced compared to other real fruit ice-cream close by along the beach front. Not so many options with no taste tests lady behind the counter was pretty abrupt in her response when asked for a taste test... Ice cream was creamy but quite sweet. I would recommend the strawberry yogurt as it was less sweet than the ginger crunch. Would have given a 3.5 if the lady behind the counter didn't have an arrogant look on her face the whole time she was serving us.
I was pretty disappointed. Prices are expensive $ 9 for 3 flavors but they are good portions and the staff is friendly. The perfumes are very classic, nothing original. I ordered the flavors of white chocolate, coconut and snickers. The last two were good but not exceptional. By cons, my ice cream to white chocolate had a very strong mint flavor and I hate it! I wonder if the bins have not been reversed ...

Great ice cream! Decent portions and quite yummy and well-balanced in terms of sweetness.
There is a fair selection of both sorbet and gelato flavours which was nice - cool how they had some interesting flavours too as you would expect. However the service was meh - the young girl who served us yesterday didn't look like she wanted to be there. Disappointing service but at least the gelato was good.
Average gelato for the price. I wasn’t wowed, but I wasn’t disappointed either. Close to the beach which is convenient.
Very nice flavours of gelato to suit all tastes. I got a lemon flavoured one and then a berry one. I’ve also tried the mocha and hokey pokey and they were all delicious!
Absolutely yum ice-cream. Handmade. Owner and team are at the shop front. Personal and friendly, and again, the ice-cream is amazingly yum.
