Monster Chicken

Was good decoration and service and was presented wonderful, nice cozy and quite Place. Good location too and good food. The chicken could have been hotter it was like warm by the time I was down to the last piece, it could have been juicer aswell and a more crispy texture of which it lacked. The sauce on the side was delicious! And the sauce on the chicken was great. The price also let it down a bit compared to other places I’ve had.

Sunday night is a bit quite but good to relax and chill. Had the monster chicken platter. The food is so delicious, the chicken is juicy inside and crispy outside which is perfect. Two of us couldn’t finish it. Highly recommend the garlic flavour.Food: 5/5

Great vibe! Interior is great and lots to look at. I'm impressed. The chicken is fantastic. The portions are huge, ours was nice and hot. Reading other reviews I think some kiwis expecting KFC size coleslaw, just understand these are side dishes, and very tasty too!! Really cool casual place. We will definitely be back.

Finally, after having so many recommendations, we have been there for our dinner. It was a nice cosy place, quite decorative. We tried the Monster Platter with Chilli Chilli Bang Bang and Original Crispy Chicken. The platter was HUGE!!! 3-4 adults would easily share. It was tasty, crispy, authentic Korean chicken, much better than any fast food fried chicken. Crispy outside, and juicy inside with a lot of flavour. We were very happy with the sides as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful with a big smile on her face. The only thing I was disappointed about was the toilet. It was not cleaned enough. This restaurant is in a very convenient location with heaps of car park. Go check it out

Best fried chicken ever. On the table, the chilli chilli bang bang, garlic bomb, mustard padak and the original fried chicken. Personal fav = the mustard pa dak. Don't underestimate the size, it's bigger than it looks. If you aren't a big eater, two people per dish..

Korean fried chicken with selection of different flavors. Lunch special with chicken, rice and kimchi. Affordable, large portion, quiet and ample parking. Disable toilet, parking and access to this place. Friendly staff, helpful with menu.

My rugrat loves korean fried chicken so we have eaten as a few places like Myfriedchicken, kokodak etc. IMO this place is pretty good. Not at good at myfriedchicken in Auckland but pretty decent. The milkshakes are great!

The food was good but unfriendly staff. I asked for takeaway box but I wanted to have some in store, no forks and napkins were given. She looked like not happy when I asked for. And when I drank my coffee, the staff came quickly said no outside drinks allowed.Food: 4/5

Great food and service, the dragon roll sushi is some of the best Sushi I've had in New Zealand, lots of little sauces on the side with the usual wasabi and soy, proportion of the sushi contents was well done. The smoky pork ribs were sublime, broke off or melted in your mouth, and the spiced sauce and salad base went well together. If you're into spicy food I can recommend the spicy udon noodles and karage chicken - chilli chilli bang bang, all this goes well with cold beer, which was provided via the Asahi and Sapporo on tap along with other choices. Lastly hats off to the only person attending a dozen or more tables, answering the phone and the reception all my herself. She made herself available to all guests and was friendly, energetic and efficient. Would love to be back.

Monster chicken has the BEST Korean fried chicken in Christchurch, its bursting with flavors. In the pictures is a teriyaki flavor and spicy flavour with kimchi. These only cost $14 at lunch time, such a good deal as they are so filling and yummy!
