WARRANTY NOT HONOURED – MISLEADING CLAIMS ABOUT CONDITIONnnI purchased a phone from Mobile City three days ago, paying extra for a device advertised as being in “excellent condition.” Despite this, the phone developed a fault within three days of purchase. The store refused to honor the 3-month warranty, claiming the issue was due to “physical damage.” This is incorrect, as the phone was never dropped, exposed to water, or mishandled.nnTo confirm, we had the device assessed by an Apple technician, who verified that the fault is related to the LCD and not caused by physical damage. Despite this independent assessment, Mobile City declined to provide warranty support.nnIt is concerning that a phone sold as “excellent condition” could fail so quickly, and the warranty offered was not upheld. Photos have been attached as proof. I would caution others to carefully consider before purchasing from this store.

Just done my 1st ever purchase at Mobile City Penrose. The service was absolutely fantastic. I went in with a laptop in mind but someone beat me to it. So the guy serving me brought out different options for me to choose from within the same price range. The environment felt so warm and peaceful. All staff members had smiles on their faces. A lot of variety to choose from within products, cases on the wall, chargers labelled throughout the room, was an absolute awesome set up.nWill definitely be a returning customer in the future.nThank you again to the awesome team for looking after us kiwis with great deals
