Very questionable service, dishonest staff. I came today to fill up with gas, and the lady demanded that I give her my bank card while I filled up my tank. I was shocked and didn't realize it was a big mistake to do that. I am French on vacation in Nelson, and I am not familiar with this practice. I think she knew I was foreign and took advantage of the situation. I had to cancel my bank card to avoid a scam and I will go to the police tomorrow to report my mishap. Store to avoid.
I struggle every time I go here... Not much help, and I hate their version of pay before you get your feul /item /servive.
These people are more than amazing . And I mean it ,the Boss there went over and above at a time of need , When I needed nnI'll forever be grateful to this woman . LOVE YOU MEL
Service and staff honesty suck. I've been popping in multiple times over a year a half since moving to Nelson and everytime they disappoint by refusing to help when occasionally needing help at the pump, car wash, or even just to put air in your tires. No customer service or care here.
I was just recently home on holiday after 3 and half years if not being able to come home and whilst there we popped down to Mobil in Stoke to fill up the car. $120 later and I went in to pay, after seeing the Big green tick come up on the eftpos machine we thanked the guy and started walking out only to be called back in after leaving being told it had declined. Confusingly, I queried this as we had clearly seen the big green tick saying approved but the guy was adamant that it had declined. Not having any internet to check my online banking I genuinely thought it must have declined and I paid again using my credit card just incase my AUS bank card had for some reason been blocked as we were overseas. After all of this rig morale I checked my bank acc in the car before even leaving the petrol station and sure enough my card had accepted! And the funds had been taken out. The guy refused to refund me even though I had proof of being charged twice, he basically said all he could do was get the manager to look into it. The manager was absolutely useless too, clearly has no idea what shes doing. We had to threaten going to the police as it is technically theft before she would refund the money. By that point, I had finished my holiday and as far as I’m concerned they left the foulest taste in my mouth. Disgusting customer service. Her holiday in Wellington was more important than ensuring her customers were left happy, honestly these people shouldn’t be running a local business because they are going to run it into the ground. As a manager in retail myself I consider this the lowest of all LOW. Your customers are very clearly NOT your main priority and you should all be ashamed. Highly recommend staying away from this business
