Great service, people and overall experience was terrific. The food basket ordered Frenzy Burger, Minted Lamb Burger, Onion Rings &Hot Chips was delicious, as were the beverages being consumed. Didn't stay for the karaoke and DJ but may consider doing so next time in town. Cheers
Just another run-down public bar. Not a picture of its former self. What is good, though, is the pizza takeaway business that they run from this location. The pizzas are great and great value as well
Very nice was infact homely especially with the garden bar well presenting and with the pork on the spit so lovely and the bar in the backyard so beautiful thanku for your hospitality.
Great well priced food & drinks and a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to this great local pub, when I'm back in Rotorua, next.

We are on a tour to Cape Reinga from Christchurch and dropped in to reminisce on our old local where our dad and family visited and lived...it's good to hear it still Rocks at the Mitchell Downs
My son loves the pizza from here. The staff are always friendly and the premises are clean.
Since new ownership this place has gone downhill. VERY rude and unhelpful owner, food is not as good as when previous cook worked there.
Horrible pizzas no taste bland slapped together real disappointment. Never ever will I order from these guy.
Great food tasty and cheap worth it all,venue is average thou.
