BREW is Rotorua's new Craft Beer Pub. It is owned by Croucher Brewing, Rotorua's award-winning brewery. BREW is a place for locals and visitors to Rotorua to enjoy Croucher ales, along with a good selection of other fantastic NZ craft beers, NZ wines and delicious gastro-pub style food.

BREW is all about being able to enjoy the company of friends and family, where conversation is more important than being drowned out by a DJ or the distraction of tiddlywinks playing on a giant TV screen all day everyday.

Probably the best burgers ever. Kiwiburger, Pulled Pork Burger and the Americano burger. All were amazing. Pizza garlic bread was yummy as were the chicken tenders. Staff were friendly and their service was amazing. Wouldn't hesitate in going back.

Not surprisingly they have a great beer selection here and you can do tasting plates with any of their tap beers. They also were the only ones where you could buy the Pink & White Geothermal Gin buy the bottle. Food was OK and decent sized portions. Definitely worth a visit for their drinks.
Reasonable food, terrible service. It was busy tonight and they only had 3 front of house staff. We had to continually ask for drinks and food as waitress never asked us and she looked disinterested and could not answer simple questions about the menu like what flavours of ice cream were available. The restaurant opposite was also busy but had more staff to ensure adequate customer service. Brew Bar would not be my first choice based on this experience. Our experience appears to be consistent with other reviews about poor service so this clearly wasn’t a once off.
The service here is terrible; I recommend avoiding. You order on their website and the staff cannot fix anything. They were out of a side, but had no way to refund it and gave me something else instead. Okay, no worries. Then we ordered dessert and one of the desserts still had not come 45 minutes after everyone else and theirs and most of our party left. We tried to ask for a refund because we needed to leave and we’re told they would not refund us unless we talked to the manager but he wasn’t available right now. If we left, we’d have to pay. Our waiter was rude and wouldn’t even check if our food was in the queue after 45 minutes. It turned out not to be, or was delivered to another table. If you think this type of service is unacceptable, don’t eat here. The manager was great and eventually offered a refund but it was nearly impossible to even be able to talk to him.
Literally the worst table service I have ever experienced. Not overly busy, walk in get seated. No menus or water. Sit and be patient for 10 or so minutes. Ask the barman if we had to order at the bar..said no and asked a waiter to look after us. She dumped some menus to us and walk off without a word. Another 15 mins passed with no service, so we walked out. Staff had plenty of time to check there phones and talk, maybe some training is needed... Anyway don't recommend if you are hungry. Would give zero stars if it was an option.
Over the past 2 years the hospitality industry has gone to the pits in NZ. I am really pleased to share that Brew has a great feel about it. Outstanding service with happy positive and friendly front of house staff. We are passing through on a flying visit and we will definitely be back
Had the best experience at Brew craft beer Pub! L’Oréal the waitress that served us was extremely helpful, prompt and very polite. She met all our needs and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Great team work. Greatly appreciated for making our time together such a great experience. Decent Croucher beer and cider, along with some guest taps. Tasting tracks are great, just the right size. Hop Burger was great, tasty chunky real beef pattie. Friendly service.
