All good, until you have an emergency. I guess if you’re one of those buyers who wants to buy above-average-priced property you’ll get all the respect and responsiveness. If you’re renting, not so much. Harsh reality?
I recommend never renting through Barfoot and Thompson - they bullied us on behalf of the owner throughout our seven years - they were unethical - they were awful. I will never rent or buy from this company.
I moved into my apartment in April and Amar has been nothing but helpful and friendly ever since! Any questions or queries are actioned and answers asap. Ive never dealt with an agent so responsive. Thank you.

We recently used Karin Cooper of the Barfoot and Thompson Mission Bay office to sell our property. I cannot recommend Karin or the Mission Bay office highly enough! Unprofessional. Not recommended either for sales or property management. Bad experience as a buyer and seller. Basically they are failing to achieve the results promised, especially John Howard. he is only looking into his advantages and not the vendor.
Highly unprofessional. Applied for rental with Barfoot Thompson mission bay that was listed under category pets ok and deceptions outlined cat or small dog ok. I checked multiple times pets are ok. Turned out the agent did not check the body corp prior and actually no animals allowed in units. Really unprofessional and such a waste of time. They only realised after the application process was through so all references including current landlord were contacted already. Edit: I was not called. They apologized via email indeed. Body corporate does not change within a week though.
