I put one star because their products are awesome. However the way they conduct business and their customer follow-up service is appalling. I discovered Missfits during the first lockdown and loved their range plus I wanted to support NZ companies. I bought a few items and was assured, if I sent in photos of the stuff I had bought, I would receive a $20.00 voucher to spend online. I took some imaginative shots of bags on a beach and a lovely top and sure enough got sent some vouchers. They also gave me another $20 voucher to compensate for the extremely long wait for one item. I was delighted. However, when I tried to claim my vouchers I was unable to do so. I tried to ring them on more than a dozen occasions and they never answered - I emailed a few times and even contacted them via Facebook - with absolutely no joy whatsoever. In short they were impossible to get hold of. So I gave up in frustration and will not order from them again. I run my own small business that is thriving because of the prompt and friendly customer service I always insure. Missfits - you are doomed to failure eventually if you carry on this way and it is sad because you do have awesome products and I liked the idea of supporting NZ artists. Wake-up!

I ordered some boots from this company a month ago and have not had any update from them despite emailing their email address is fake, texting and messaging through instagram. Their expected delivery date has now passed and I still have no tracking details for my order no. 6128. The boots were expensive so I would like a refund if they are not able to fulfill the order but they are uncontactable. I think this company may be a scam from other reviews I have seen after looking into them….posting this publicly after multiple attempts to contact them directly in the hope that they will get in touch if this is not the case.

Been 16days since I ordered and I have heard nothing... if you are going to keep using the hole covid as an excuse at least be open and honest on the website.. it is now way past the person's birthday I brought this for and to be honest would rather cancel my order but nobody replys when I email.

I have brought multiple things off this company and have loved them in the past. Over the last 4 months though things have soured. I placed some orders for runners, boots and some chair covers. Nothing has arrived, they are impossible to contact and now the website has been closed. Dont buy off this company. You will lose your money

Please be aware the product is not made in New Zealand and comes from overseas. My fault for not looking into this more, I checked the “contact us” and thought it was coming from Wellington. I would always buy NZ first vs overseas to support our local business. In hindsight would not have purchased if looked at these reviews first. My delivery has stalled and so far been waiting 4 weeks since purchase. No help with questions re eta and only given “ expected delays, not sure when, and your one of many suffering the same” when asked if in the country was removed from the chat. International deliveries from other companies no issue so not sure why. 23 Oct 2021- product still not arrived and still sitting in China 46 days since first ordered not sure when it will arrive Missfits have now updated the site to say shipped from overseas “ thank goodness” which wasn’t on the site when I ordered only mentioned with with confirmation of purchase The blurb down below is an indication of what you would expect from customer service, I noticed no mention of how I requested a refund over three times with nothing ever given. However two masks were sent to me because of my wait “ thank you” however both not the style I paid for or ordered and do not fit, all I wanted was a refund!!! Was told to tighten the elastic, bit hard when it doesn’t fit over my nose and chin tightening won’t adjust that. I support “ NZ MADE” as well as NZ Designed. NZ MADE does not mean overseas made.

The only thing I can say is that I'm very disgusted with the conduct of this company. My fault I thought I was putting money back into NZ's economy but no. Very clever marketing on your part. I have purchased a duvet cover back in February and paid extra money to get this delivered as a priority it is now April and still nothing. I have emailed and that bounced back, I have called and advised to text so I did and and still no response. Stop praying on people that work hard and decide to go on your website and purchase something. Also don't blame Covid over people blaming this situation you can not even reply to your paying customers. I would like a refund for what I have so called purchased. I am happy to walk into a shop in NZ and pay for something at least I know where the money is going and I actually walk out with the product. When you pay just under $300 for a duvet cover that is a lot of money. DO THE RIGHT THING AND RESPOND TO ME AND THE REST OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. PAY THE MONEY BACK

Thank you for the wonderful service! Received my shoes safe and sound, much sooner than I was expecting! I very much appreciate the communication you gave me every step of the way about possible delays and the special care taken with made to order items. Follow up E-mail to advise of delivery was very nice too. Very happy with the shoes and everything else!

Disappointing experience with this company. Masks finally arrived today after more than three months. I had ordered them because the company advertises they are made locally - but they are made in and shipped from China. The sales blurb is misleading. The tracking number provided with the order confirmation was useless. Product quality is shoddy. Will not order from here again.

Quite disappointed. I ordered my duvet set 2 months ago and still haven't received it. Don't know if I am going to receive it. It says its been in "TRANSIT" for the last two weeks, but haven't heard anything else about my order. They also have the worst customer service. And I think during this time of the pandemic they shouldn't false advertise saying on the site shipping only takes 2-3 weeks when they emailed me after I ordered stating that it may take up to 3 months. I felt roped in to buying but still haven't received my product. Quite upsetting and usually I'm all for supporting a nz business. But after this, I don't think I will again!! 30th July: Update my package arrived in NZ on the 26th of July but still hasn't gotten too me yet. This is the longest I've ever waited on any package. We pay alot of money to not receive our package in a timely manner. I wish I hadn't paid $160 for a duvet set! So angry at how long this is taking!!! Pathetic!!! 2 August: Update I actually found my parcel in the letterbox!!! How pathetic, for the amount you pay you should be able to get it couriered safely to your door!!! BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I have been waiting since January 29th for two rugs costing $500 in total. Email is saying no such email. I have rung and it says to text, have had no reply at all. Tracking says 'ordered.' I would like a refund.
