Residents of Mt Crawford Prison used to grow their own food. Now the gardens are maintained by the Miramar Prison Garden Collective.
There are private allotments where members grow food for personal use, and communal ones that we all share.
If you'd like to be involved, build a garden plot, sprout some seedlings, nurse some natives, flourish some flowers, or bring down freshly baked fruit muffins, then feel free to contact us on 021 181 3376
