Minogue Park

Love the playground and the lake but the walkway doesn’t go all around. Every time it rains it’s too muddy to go around. The bricks on the walkway by the car park got fixed, thank you for that. Overall we like our local small park and enjoy it on a weekly basis.

Good walk with the kids getting outside of the Playstation lol but yeah they injoy themselves too saw a van full off Tourist just for laughs I broke out a haka the looks on my kids face was priceless yeah but such a beautiful place to visit check it out yall

Recently we discovered a walkway at Minogue Park, walking around Lake Rotokaeo. Then on up to the top of hill looking down towards Bupa Forest Lake. The easier track up there is up the steep grassy slope, not through the bush.

Mostly a big open space featuring a dirty lake no good for swimming, and a patch of bush with scattered natural paths. A new fenced dog area has just opened. There is also a bike park is next door to a kids playground at the main entrance. Something for everyone here.

Lovely place, great to let your dog off and nice and close to town. The only problem is that some dog owners don't respect that your dog is on a lead and let them come say hi without asking if it's OK.
