Minimee Early Childhood Education Adventure

My two children have both attended Minimee and we love it! Could not recommend it enough. I visited several daycares and as soon as we walked into Minimee I knew this was the right place for us. My eldest has been here since he was 6 months old and he loves it and knows all the teaches so well. Such a beautiful set up and amazing food for the kiddies.

We’ve had our two sons through Minimee between the ages of almost 2 and almost 5 over a 3 year period. Monisha is phenomenal in her approach to keeping the tamariki safe, grounded and happy. She somehow seamlessly moves between the role of Centre Manager owner/operator and full time furniture for the little ones to snuggle into. The wider Minimee team are an all star cast of talent and genuine care for the kids, while also encouraged to be themselves and connect with the kids in different ways. Impromptu face painting and hair styling with energetic educators was always a favourite. Having an In-house chef but not anyone… having Angoma! is a wonderful addition to ensure that the kids are fed, but also that they are exposed to different foods outside the home/family routines at early ages. We particularly adore the Minimee meal time rituals and it is handy not to have to make lunchboxes each day. But having Angoma in the kitchen, interacting with the tamariki, sometimes collaborating on meals, and talking to them about Kai, is just fabulous for everyone involved. Overall there is a great balance between policy and individual care and planning for each child and each whanau. We’ve moved on now, but Minimee is a very special place and I can’t recommend enough - hence the gushing review.

Minimee is our daughters home away from home which is important to us knowing that she is getting the care and support she needs to flourish into who she wants to be. The teachers are like an extension of our antenatal coffee group, I can ask them questions and get great tips and tricks in helping navigate being parents and supporting the development of our happy girl. Each day at drop off our daughter is welcomed with open arms and big smiles. I couldn’t recommend Minimee enough and I feel so grateful knowing my daughter is well looked after every day by her teachers and her little friends.

MiniMee has become our second home and my daughter loves her days spent here playing, learning and connecting with her teachers and peers. We have felt the staff so approachable and friendly with attentiveness and individual care set to a very high standard. As a parent I am so happy to have found a centre where I feel my child is safe and also happy to be.

After a long journey to starting our family, the placement of our precious girl into daycare was a huge decision for us. The minimee ethos met all of our hopes, with a focus on child centric care, small classroom numbers, dedicated teaching team and a family style community, we were thrilled to enroll. The teachers have been caring and patient with both our daughter and with us, and have been there to help answer our questions and provide great advise. We highly recommend minimee and the fantastic team.
