Founded in 1928, Miles Nelson is one of New Zealand’s most trusted hardware companies and is proud to be 100% privately New Zealand owned and operated.

Story

Miles Nelson’s original endeavours centred around the production of equipment to assist with the war effort, namely the manufacturing of electric fencing and other products from its original Airedale Street site in central Auckland.

It was only towards the end of World War II that the company began manufacturing its traditional hardware range. Today, Miles Nelson supplies a mix of imported and locally manufactured architectural hardware and bathroom products from its custom-built distribution centre in Albany, on Auckland’s North Shore.

Based in Auckland the company distributes nationwide and internationally, and is well known for its quality product range, innovative design, and commitment to customer service.

Miles Nelson’s long history as a manufacturer, coupled with in house technical expertise and custom designed proprietary products means that the range is designed, manufactured and tested to exacting standards.
