Went to the restaurant and extremely impressed with the Great service, amazing food and even liked the price. Great value for money as the meals were a decent size. Family friendly also.
My car broke down.. walking to get help I was hot and tired. Stopped in Merrylees Hotel. The barman sat me down in a cool area..opened the windows so I could cool down. Service was amazing, and the cold beer was perfect.
1st time eating in, food was yummy, atmosphere was nice, only 4 stars as waiter staff confusing...... 1 plate for our table 1 for another and then right back to our table with other plate, then off to next table...... why if both our plates for our table/order was ready didn't you serve us before serving another....

Well where do you start the lady behind the desk Was so rude there was ready bad smell in the hall the room i was in very small and so hot we were told no meal they closed 6.00pm i would not recommend this hotel

We went to the Dr Hook and CCR night. Lovely dining / entertainment area. Dining room is looking lovely. More upmarket than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely steak meal and the fish baskets looked good too.
All four of us can recommend Merrylees as a great place for excellent meals. The steaks were melt in your mouth delicious and both the Thai beef and Thai chicken salads were the best we've had. Very good presentation.Topped off with yummy desserts we were well satisfied. Service of drinks and food was fast efficient and friendly. Thank you and we'll be back
