Due to limited opportunities of freedom camping in this area we were very happy to spend a night at this campground. Luckily, we could call an emergency number and arrived late in the evening. We could pay the next morning. Great service and very nice location and tidy showers/toilets too.

Great place! We arrived very late and didn't have a reservation. We saw on their website that they had sites available, but we still couldn't book there. We went to the place and found a sign indicating late arrivals. It was great! We were able to shower and stay overnight and pay the next morning. Excellent service, spotless bathrooms, hot shower, and a fully equipped kitchen open all night. We will definitely return.

Mercury Bay Holiday Park is a perfect location for a getaway! Super easy booking process, the park is owner operated with very accommodating, friendly people. The park is a great size where all sites are super close to the kitchen, toilets, etc. located just out of town we found this a great location to stay when in coromandel peninsula. Very thankful for the staff at Mercury Bay Holiday Park for making our holiday one to remember!

I stayed here twice recently. Once in a two bedroom motel unit and the second time in the queen studio.nnThe rooms and facilities are old but clean and comfortable enough.nnThere aren’t a lot of power points in the rooms. They should definitely get a new internet provider as the wifi was not great.nnOverall I think it’s a decent place to take your family for a reasonably priced holiday.

Had 2 bedroom cabin. Clean and very suitable for 3 adults andc3 kids.  Trampoline and play group.  Pool.  Great location.  Very clean
