This is definitely a lodge worth staying at. They serviced our room even tho we were only there for 2 nights and upgraded our room for free. It is really quiet yet close to everything, only a 5 to 8 min drive to attractions, shops, and eateries. The staff were really attentive and welcoming. The only issue we had was that we found the mattress too hard.
Gorgeous setting on acreage property just a couple of minutes from town. The view from our little deck was lovely. Bed was comfortable. Room was a bit dated, but the setting and view more than made up for it. Choy, the owner, was very friendly. A unique and lovely place. We would definitely stay here again.⁸
It is clean and well-managed accommodation run by a lovely family. The beds’ mattresses and linens are clean and new, and the host is supportive and friendly to the guests. The dining area is neat and spacious with a satisfactory hot breakfast. It is a 3-star lodge but is far better than the 4-star motels of other cities where I stayed during the trip. Strongly recommend this lodge.
Location is wonderful. Loved the layout of the motel. Rooms were clean and tidy and bed was super comfy. However TV was bad quality, no toaster and the shower is the worst I've ever experienced. Either super hot or cold and pressure that makes a garden hose look like it's gold plated. A great place to stay if you can't find anything else but.
An awesome family friendly lodge run by a beautiful family. We stayed in the self contained family unit and it was spotless and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen is well equipped with a big fridge.nBoth the bedroom and the main living area had a heat pump which was really handy.nnWe are a regular and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when we are visiting Whitianga.
