There’s a great new menu at Giuseppe’s to go with its refreshed decor. The food is authentically southern Italian and the service is excellent - friendly and efficient. The gnocchi with lamb ragout was perfectly al dente and delicious. I finished off lunch with a yummy iced chocolate made with gelato. It’s great to be able to shop for speciality foods while waiting for your meal to arrive.
At the restaurant the service was amazing, the food itself was good but not great and somewhat overpriced. Enjoyed the Salmone pizza and the Gnocchi with Lamb Ragu: the pizza flavour was excellent and it was well cooked however the base had no structural integrity and had to be fully supported to the tip or the toppings fell off. The ratio of ragu to gnocchi left that dish feeling like a stew and it was very greasy. The shop part of the store is an entirely different story, they have an extensive pasta range and everything is very reasonably priced. I left with three different types of good quality pasta and will definitely be going back!
It's casual, open, light. The food is good and there's an Italian wine, cheese and food/products shop at the back. Staff friendly and there's a bar and a selection Carrello's gelato on display.
Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Every course was delicious, authentic Italian food antipasti, pizza and tirimisu and we were greeted with the loveliest staff you could need. Lovely people, food and atmosphere. Really fantastic, thanks a lot.
This has to be some of the most amazing customer service skills I’ve ever encountered. To whoever runs Giuseppe’s, I hope you congratulate your staff member running front counter on the 8th January, 2020 at 4pm as he knew the menu inside and out. He knew each individual ingredient for the menu item, he knew how to up-sell without pressuring us at all. I was very impressed as this is our first time here. Haven’t even tried the pizzas yet but the service was too good not to mention. Will definitely come back again!
We had lunch there on a Wednesday. Loved their $12 lasagna! The flavours, the salad and the dressing on top were superb. It was a great value for money. The pistachio gelato was great! Friendly servers. Their menu is a bit expensive though if food is bought for regular price.
Tried their vegetarian eggplant pizza and it was definitely a treat to the buds. The lady at the counter was so polite and friendly. I had never experience such kind of customer service. Would definitely recommend this place and will come here soon again.
Solid four star. Nice and cozy, I really like the bargains I have found here but, on the other hand, it doesn't offer anything different that you can already find in other places. Guys, just get to sell Mulino Bianco cookies, $5 like in Aussie, we cannot find it anywhere here. ;-
If there were an option for half a star, I would give Giuseppe's a 4.5 but it deserves more than a 4, so I have given it a 5. Because I used the Grabone coupon, I couldn't choose from the whole menu. However, the shared antipasto was a good start, the lamb gnocchi exquisite, the tiramisu authentic, and the bottle of Italian Chianti an unbeatable price. The staff are friendly and super attentive. There is a nice sitting area for couples which has clearly been a consideration but I think this area could be further developed to make it more intimate. All in all, a great experience and I would definitely come back.
Very lovely people at the Mediterranean Food Warehouse. My wife and I go there for lunch quite regularly and we always enjoy a good quality of food. The staff there are friendly and knowledgeable and it is good to see younger people having such an interest in what they are selling. Keep up the good work and we'll keep coming back.
