I took my mum there to grab some breakfast from their drive thru service.nArrived at about 10.58am and waited in a queue of 1 car until 11.01am for our order to be taken.nSorry sir breakfast finished at 11.00am.nReally ?! 1 minute past 11.00 and you can’t do a breakfast order ? Even though we were sitting in the drive thru lane.nUnbelievable but true. Lift your game guys.nWon’t use or recommend you again.
Terrible experience at McDonalds Whakatane. Had to wait over 30 minutes for our food, went up twice to ask where it was and got told 'we are preparing it'.nWhen we finally got it food was cold, Mayo missing from the Happy meals & had put catchup in the muffin wr asked for no ketchup.nNot even an apology, terrible customer service

I want to give a 5 star rating specifically for a young man named Sean who serves me most days in the drive through for my early morning coffees. He has lovley manners, always smiling, and with a positive attitude. To be working 6am in the morning and experience good customer service from our youth these days is great to see. Keep it up young man, your family should be very proud of you
