I brought 2 hot honey Mccrispy burgers yesterday, an I was disgusted on the burger. The size of the burger was not true to what they advertise on tv. You might as well ordered a cheese burger. I ended up throwing them in the bin, as my cat put her nose off it. I will not be going back to macdonald's in matamata, was utterly disappointed, an would recommend to other people to go elsewhere. Tv ad burger, an our burger yesterday.
Parking is around the store and shared with repco they have drive through as well. Toilets were pretty dirty. We sat at the big long table inside and that was clean so where all the seats.. the rubbish bins had been replaced recently as well as they were half full. The ordering machine i used was clean but the one next to me had something on it. The food was as expected but we timed the nuggets and chips perfectly they were fresh and hot. There's a picture on the wall of hobbiton that I feel like has been there for years.. they have a Spotify pick your own songs machine and a small party room for hire. Staff where young and friendly. Not a bad place all in all.
Haven't visited McDonalds in years, have to say the size of the filet of fish burger as shrunk in size, the chips were not that warm, but the worse thing is the seaweed coffee that was disgusting, thought I was ordering a flat white, they did give me a ordinary coffee after I said something, which was good of them.....but this ordering food via a machine is weird, a human being behind a counter is needed for us older folks that struggle using self service in this modern world.
had a very uncomfortable experience here. While we were seated and eating, a staff member asked us to remove our boots and leave them outside because they had some mud on them. We were not walking around or making a mess, just sitting at our table.nnIt’s difficult to understand why the floor around the table couldn’t simply be cleaned again after we finished. Isn't mopping the floor clean part of your job? Asking customers to take off their shoes in a fast food restaurant is not reasonable and feels inappropriate.nnMaintaining cleanliness is important, but it should be managed in a way that respects customers. This approach was unnecessary and left a poor impression.
Super busy but very efficient and food was fresh and good or should I say normal McDonald's standard. Staff were friendly. Restaurant was a little dirty but I just put that down to being a holiday weekend and so busy.
