I saw a review elsewhere to come to this tasting room, I'm so glad I came here instead. 8 wines for $20 and tasting waivered if you bought 2 bottles. We had Lewis doing our tasting he was so good, made it personal and had chats with all of us, I'm not a red drinker but the different pinot noirs they have omg amazing I even bought a bottle and a pinot gris too nDefinitely head to this tasting room if your in Wanaka!
Just been to Maude Wine Tasting Rooms and I couldn’t recommend this experience enough. Myself and my partner were looked after by Lewis. From the outset he was friendly, warm, welcoming and down to earth! His knowledge of the wines, the processes and flavours was delivered in a way that a normal person can actually understand- I left feeling more knowledgeable about the wines. Other places I’ve been too, I’ve felt rushed or made feel a bit silly because I’m not ‘wine buff’ enough!nThe views, location and overall experience was 10/10. You won’t regret coming here, sampling all the gorgeous wines and receiving a top class service.
Fantastic winer tasting experience with a fantastic view! Our wine expert Lewis was a perfect combination of funny and relaxed, while also being extremely knowledgeable and professional. The whole tasting really gave off the atmosphere of a family run winery and would highly recommend this to anyone. I would also recommend going to the winery before your tasting or sticking around afterwards, as the outdoor seating offers incredible views over lake Wanaka.nThank you again Maude Winery!
Wine tasting - delicious, fun and informative experience in the most sunniest surroundings. Loved everything about it: the wines we tased, the sunny spot, and the English guy who did the tasting. Can recommend 100%.nBest to make a reservation, it’s 20NZ$. We purchased 2 bottles afterwards and got one wine tasting fee deducted and will remember Maude for our next wine purchase when back in Germany.
