Matakana Country Park

Great place for family entertainment or just browsing yourself. Craft shop, art gallery, coffee shop and various other things. Near to the beach and winery's and of course Matakana shops and restaurants.

A great stop you yourself or the whole family with cafe, bar and restaurant making options for all times of the day. Horses, farm animals and ride on mini railway are great for the kids. Several crafty stores including art, bespoke jewelry and local sourced craft and gift stores. Well worth a visit if passing through or regular local

bit run dwn nice to see the animals but they need to be looked after better. wasnt cool to see a dead sheep just lying there for kids to see.

We are in their caravan park individual sites with water and power a very short walk to cafes restaurant bar mini train etc etc etc. Great place with plenty to do if you dont like it here you would be hard to please
