Tried to get a GP appointmentas late as possible-after 4.00pm as I work only to be given 10.00am. The latest was about 1.30pm after insisting. The practice is open till 6.30pm . I can see why A&E are overloaded.
It's pointless booking telephone appointments - the doctors never call you on time, even if your appointment has been in their diary for 3 weeks, which is also how long you typically have to wait to for a booking. They just call you whenever they get around to it, rather than being punctual like patients and other professional organisations are expected to be.
Absolutely disgusting service. Have a child with a heart condition and waited 4 weeks to see a gp only to turn up and it’s with a nurse as the reception team are incapable of booking appointments correct.
They dont even deserve one star but wanting to put this review as im absolutely mortified... I've recently move into a new property soon as i told them to change address they told me I couldn't go there anymore and in 30 days they are kicking me off and my kids off the system i told them i was struggling to find one in the time frame as i just had a baby and i have a 3 year old and im going through a tough time with postpartum depression and still unpacking a stressful house move they also know my daughter gets ill quite alot and new born whats due for his first lot of injections very soon and they told me it wasn't there problem anymore all the doctors are rubbish anyways but besides the point the way they treated me was awful!!!
Awfully rude doctor, incorrect advice given and refused to continue treatment from previous doctor. Partner has chronic pancreatitis and has now been left without pain relief and needs to go to A&E
Friendly helpful reception staff, and good doctors. No complaints. Unfortunately there is a fairly long wait for telephone consultations. I have had to wait almost 3 weeks. Is this due to covid? The lack of doctors?Simply too great a demand for gp services . It's too easy to blame the surgeries when there are obviously pressures outside of their control
Refused to book any appointments after 3pm I work 8-5 and cant see a doctor without booking a day off work! Receptionist are useless and dont want to book any appointments. Ive had appointments after 5pm before but now you cant even book a phone appointment out of work hours. Its ridiculous. Been trying to get an appointme t for the past 6 months.
Still won't see patients face to face you have to wait a month just for a phone call. Two nurses that take blood but appointments cancelled on short notice without an alternative booked. Reception can be rude depending on who your unlucky to get. Really shocking surgery with no patient care.
Been with Marton medical since was born . Unfortunately when they moved into the larger building , things went down hill from there . Since covid you can’t get appointments. Managed to get a phone call today told them what was wrong , and all he could say is what do you want me to do about it . I’m not a doctor that’s why I’m asking you for advice . Just shocking treatment on more than one occasion.
Don't go into this doctors whilst having a mental health episode because they'll just remove you as a patient when you leave ‍
