Awesome spot, lovely and tranquil with stunning views. Apartment was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and every little detail thought of. The breakfasts each morning were left in the most delightfully unobtrusive manner and were just lovely. Great attention to detail, we loved everything about it. However, air conditioning was the only missing factor as it was hot at night which made it hard to sleep. Despite that, we would definitely stay again and recommend Marina Cove to anyone wanting a truly lovely place to stay.
Amazing panoramic views of the Bay of Islands! All the finishing touches made it very homely - we were enjoying the islands right from the deck. There’s even a little walk directly from Marina Cove to Opua 15 mins which is the perfect way to start the day. Recommend staying multiple days to make the most of this beautiful home and the incredible surroundings.
For this Christchurch couple, we had 3 nights in paradise. True bliss, wow! What a fabulous stay at Marina Cove. We had private access to our accomodation... knowing that expert advise was available when we needed it. Thanks to our amazing hosts, Wendy and Mike for your expert local knowledge on things to do , walks ,restaurants etc..The Apartment was immaculate, with incredible views over the water. We could even see fish jumping in Opua harbour from our private balcony. fantastic place to stay.!. Thank you ...
Had an incredible stay. The owners are extremely friendly, going above and beyond in every way for their guests. We got fresh bread or pastries baked for us every morning. The rooms are perfect and the views are picturesque. Would recommend to anyone looking to spend a luxurious time in the bay of islands.
Spectacular location, stunning apartment and views. Mike and Wendy are wonderful hosts - freshly baked bread in the morning at your door. They do all the little touches very well. Highly recommended for a place to sit back and unwind.Rooms: 5/5
