I live nearby to the school and have made a few calls to the school due to the loud song bells. As with a lot of people, there are more working from home. The majority of my work is over the phone and I've had a few comment on the loud music. It doesn't seem to matter how often I call, it has not been resolved. I've said to them that I understand they are trying to motivate their children but it would be nice to be considerate of their close neighbours as well.
Horrible over the phone mannerism by receptionist staff. Quick to rush people off the phone when making queries. 10.06am 13th of June Pretty disappointing after hearing great reviews about the school.

A Great school indeed, Principal Ian Taylor is very hard but firm with the students the atmosphere at the school is Great and the kids especially in the school assembly are absolutely wicked when they get up n Sing. My daughter has just finished up from the Manurewa Intermediate, my son a couple years ago I am Forever Greatful to the Principal, Deans n Staff Members for teaching the purpose of Life for not only my children but also to the many kids to have walked through those school gates. Our kids are the Future of Tomorrow.........

A great school, my kids love attending M.I and the school environment is awesome. The teachers here are super friendly and I love the way they talk and interact with the children. Highly recommend this school.
Principal Iain Taylor made a mockery of an injury that occured to a child during a dodge ball game toward the mum picking up her injured son. He made the young man feel like rubbish with his immature responses to the young mans mother as she wanted to make a complaint which he clearly wasn't taking seriously with his response. I'll be contacting the ministry of education to see what can and will be done about this.
Miss shouting lyrics with the rest of the school. Also miss the rangitoto trips. Back then I didn't like the idea. But I enjoyed it.
The teachers here are so down to earth not snotty but contact focus,warm and inviting.The school field has a nice feel of country to Art and Play area.Wrkshops for student I recommend! U can hear their chanting,singing,laughters from outside the school gate.These bunch of adults are contagious and student funkies at heart.Highly recommended to send your childrens here!
Hi I am new to this area and was looking for 3 of my children to attend Manurewa intermediate However i am just out of zone living at 1/42 Great South Rd and we only.live.3 mins away from the school I.love your website
