The Principal Mel is just amazing. She is so welcoming, warm, polite and fun. With such a great leader, the staff/teachers are brilliant and thoughtful as well. They celebrate all cultures, have awesome activities, learnings and break times. They also frequently welcome parents in their celebration. The children are happy, respected and empowered to make good decisions. Big thank you.
I want to give a shoutout to Te Uho o Te Nikau Primary School for being incredibly welcoming and inclusive. Principal Mel is so accommodating and kind, making everyone feel valued. We joined this lovely whanau just this week and I was amazed that one of the male teachers greeted my daughter by her name on her very first day Infront of the gate I was surprised with the warm welcome for my girl such great communication among staff relating the kids felt such a Sense of belonging at tht school, from principal to my daughter's class teacher thank you for the warm welcome I look forward to this journey for my daughter's learning alongside yours.
