We are a large family friendly medical practice located in the heart of the Mangere Town Centre.

Story

Mangere Health Centre opened its doors in 1974 and started with 3 General Practitioners.

We are now a thriving business with 9 Doctors who are supported by an experienced team of nursing and administration staff.

Our team works in partnership to create healthy communities. We do this by forming long term relationships with the people of our communities. Like any relationship it is based on respect, mutual rewards plus service beyond formal obligation. We provide affordable, accessible care aimed at improving the quality of life of those we come in touch with.

Thank you for accommodating me twice in the past week or so on short notice. Everyone was very helpful from the recipient, nurse, and doctor . I am really grateful for your service, support, and advice.
Went for a new enrollment was told by my previous doctors that since I am already enrolled to the same organization so won't even take a day to get your records bit the lazy receptionist was so arrogant to assist me all I needed was an appointment but hesitated and gave me a form and told me fill this and I am good within three day and he will also send me an email confirming enrollment since then 3 weeks gone nothing just planning to write to relevant authorities and get this sorted since I have serious health problems and relying on irresponsible receptionist will make the situation worst surely will write to the head of organization and ministery of health and whoever I can to fix it so that no other patients have to suffer because of lazy staffs
Staff are awesome. But I no longer can book appointments here. Like the comment below, you’re sick on the day and can’t make an appointment till a week later or two. I’ve had to go to emergency doctors paying $80 more then my actually GP. It’s crazy. I’m sorry I’ve loved being a patient here but since covid, it’s not the same.
Have been going to this Doctors since I was young and I swear the nurses and doctors were more helpful back then. The nurse who I spoke to was pointless like she didn't want to be at work. What a headache dealing with her. Back to Dr Google it is
Do not join this medical centre. You cannot get in to see a doctor for a few weeks. You will spend a lot more money having to go to emergency doctors. Highly not recommended
How exactly does this work? You fall sick today call in for a appointment to see a doctor the following day and get told theres 2 week wait to see a doctor, ? Is it even worth registering here even though? They send you to get checked else where. Ots inconvenient, and you can even walk in .
I had my first visit this week. Although I had to phone them a couple of times beforehand since they were busy but they followed through and a nurse returned my call to book the appointment. On the day, the GP called me in the morning for a brief phone consultation and prescribed me medicine. I was attended by Nurse Sevita who answered all my questions and paid attention to all my concerns. She was engaging and thorough. Pleasant first experience!
I’ve been coming here since I was a baby up until my early 20’s, along with my siblings. I sadly moved out central last year & had to register with a local doctor who don’t provide the outstanding services I’m used to. Have always had good experiences coming here & the reception lady’s are lovely, along with the nurses and doctors.
Almost 3+ years with this clinic and you can never get an appointment on the same week! Probably lucky enough to get a slot in 2 weeks. So frustrating!!! Tried the online thing they say that helps and submitted a request last week and still no call backs. Reception makes it worse! You don’t feel welcomed when you call in.
This has been my health centre with the same doctor for nearly 40 yearsI was a baby, and this doctor is now my children's doctor so it speaks for itself. I find making appointments easy, the nurse is friendly and informative and on to it when reminding me about due check ups. The receptionists are lovely and approachable
