My recent visit to Manaia Cafe and Bar in Tairua was absolutely delightful! From the warm ambiance to the delicious food and friendly staff, every aspect of my experience exceeded expectations. The menu offers a fantastic variety of options, and the quality of ingredients truly shines through in each dish. We ended up eating here twice over the two weeks we were in the area. Loved the gluten free options, especially the gluten free fish and chips. The team was fantastic and very willing to make adjustments to get to gluten free for us. Thanks.
The Turkish eggs were ok but had so many flavours that somehow didn't work perfectly together, it was still good to eat though and the bread was deliciousnThe burger was also nicenOverall good place for breakfast or lunch
We ordered the pizza and the menu state what it should contains below. But NOOOO. They didn’t have prawns and replaced with salmon and didn’t checked with us. Also they didn’t have capers and greens and only replaced with onions without asking!!! The worse part was the full pizza was burn!!! All black on its back, very disgusting and can’t stand with that. You should check with or ask customer if you don’t have some items. If they ask, I would order others instead. They just served the food and didn’t said anything. I ask them why it’s different from menu and they justnsaid they ran out all of prawns and vege and replace with others without any apologies. Nice little restaurant with good drinks selection. For our taste, the hamburgers in the lunch menu was a bit weird, but poke bowl salad was very good and plentiful.
