Friendly welcome and great service with a varied menu and good range of drinks.nnI went for the lamb - possibly the nicest piece of lamb I have ever had. My significant other went for one of the wood fired pizzas - again, excellent.nnLook out for the house spirits that offer great value for money.
Really great coffee Havana!! Perfectly made - we had a Flat White and a Macchiato, both delicious. All our compliments to the barista who was working today!nWe also got the Brioche French Toast and some Fries. I was impressed with how well the flavours of the french toast went together with the cinnamon sugar and cooked banana inside the toast??!. The fries were plentiful and yummy. Had a great time and enjoyed our lunch next to the outside fire.
We ate here twice and enjoyed both meals. There wasn't a lot on the menu that really grabbed us but the duck/pork Pate was fantastic and the portions generous. The young ladies serving were pleasant and helpful. Manaia has one big advantage, most of the other cafes in town close on mondays! One request, if a staff member is working on the till and a customer approaches, acknowledge the customer and then finish the task, don't leave customers standing without a greeting, they may walk out.
Excellent food and incredibly friendly service. We ordered the starters and the catch of the day and shared everything. The food was very good and the wine recommendations were superb. Thank you to the service team and the kitchen staff!
Very nice place, elevated food. The pasta of the day was delicious, tasted super fresh and vibrant with a little kick of chili. The prawns were delicious.nnThe fish of the day was red snapper and it was cooked perfectly. The brocolini was some of the best I've ever had, super full of flavor and also cooked perfectly.nnThey have a good selection of wine and beers on tap and the service is fantastic. They have a nice covered outdoor area as well for dining. At busier times you'd probably want to make a reservation.
