Craving something a little different in the center of Athens we decided to stop in for Mexican. The cocktails 2 were fantastic and unique. The burrito 2 filling. And the appetizer flavorful. Cannot wait to stop in again. Last but not least one mandarin soda. Total meal was €54.50Food: 5/5
A nice Mexican spot located at the center of Athens. The menu is to the point with the right amount of dishes following the Mexican tastes. We tried a burger and tacos. The burger was tasty and came with exceptional french fries. Tacos were also tasty and fresh. Of course there is always room for improvement, by replacing this fake cheddar with original, finer onion cuts and a default medium beef. But this are minor issues, the place is suggested, with gentle employees and tasty dishes!
The nachos tasted like Doritos so that’s eh but the tacos were very good!! Good amount of flavor and I normally don’t go for shrimp tacos cause they really put a lot on there. The corn was also very good and well seasoned.
Tourists: this is the best Mexican in Athens. If you want Mexican food with service and atmosphere then this is it. If you want grab and go tacos, then try the other place and let me know what you think. We are so happy just to come and get Nachos and share them. The Margaritas are big and strong too.
Great food and atmosphere. Staff were great and ensured we were taken care of. We ordered nachos, combos tacos, shrimp tacos and beer. Everything tasted really good and would recommend to anyone that wants something tasty and fresh!
The food was good when it came out but we ordered queso to start and it was cold. I got my salad but it wool 25 mins for my friend to get her entree and they did nothing about it. She just said there is a lot of tables but not sure why they only brought out one meal then. Otherwise the food was good
Food was not bad. Atmosphere was nice cozy and beautiful. The sound of their radio is a bit broken sometimes resulting in being a bit annoying. But overall, everything was fine.
Overall a good experience here. We were looking for something with some spice in it on our two week trip to Greece snd chose this place. It looked Mexican, and it has some Mexican overtones in the food which was enough for us, but if you’re looking for real Mexican spice this probably won’t do it for you. Staff was super nice and food was quick to come out. Like others have said, it’s expensive for what you get.
There aren't many Mexican restaurants where we live, so anytime we travel we like to find one. Mamacita's was really great! Decor was super fun, and the margarita was yummy. Highly recommend the guacamole, it is delicious!! We also got a flight of tacos, such a fun thing to have on the menu. Decently affordable as well. It was so good we went 2 days in a row! 10/10
Was in my to-go list for ages and finally had a chance to visit. We got a pitcher of frozen margaritas which was very strong we appreciate that even though since it’s frozen it can be prone to accidents which we had. Food was very tasty and while a bit on the expensive side the portions and the quality I believe make up for it. I do want to point out that on the nachos it would be better if there was a scoop of sour cream like there is of guacamole and pico de gallo because you really cannot taste the sour cream. The staff was very attentive.
