Story

Magic Kingdom Childcare Centre is a multi award winning centre based in Boundary Road, Blockhoise Bay and is perfect for families who live or work in Lynfield, Blockhouse Bay, Mt Roskill. Green Bay, New Lynn, Mt Albert, Hillsborough, Owairaka,, to name a few. We have a higher ratios of teacher / child than the minimum Ministry of Education requirements. This is to ensure the highest focus and attention are given to your child’s care and safety, immediate needs, learning observations and professionally written learning stories displayed using our award winning invention (“Roots and Shoots” online outcomes visualisation system). Our centre has been designed to give you the “home away from home” feeling for you and your Child – that’s what our family team [i.e. Nikeeta (experienced ECE educator) and Darius (former university professor)] who both have 3 generations of teaching history in their families, have created for you and your child. Begin your journey by walking through our rainforest entrance walkway to transform you away from the city and into our magical place. Be amazed by our giant indoor enchanted tree to read, play or sleep inside!, Your little one will be lullabied to peaceful music & soft twinkling starlight in our cot room where we project a life-like replica of the night sky onto the ceiling so your baby can sleep under the stars (!), We have designed generously spacious indoor play areas, an innovative outdoor playground with treasure island and moon crater sandpits, hobbit cave, fruit orchard, flowing riverbed and also a sustainable solar powered centre with full rainwater reharvesting systems for our laundry and bathrooms.
Most recently (Dec 2017), our proudest moment is receiving a 4 star rating (highest rating you can receive) by the Education Review Office. This has made us among the highest quality centres in NZ.
