We are one of New Zealand's leading importers of Mag Wheels and Tyres we have an extensive range of wheels in stock at our Mt Maunganui store.
You can drive in trial some wheel sizes and styles choose form our range of tyres and drive out on your new wheels.
Mag and Tyre Direct have full range of tyres available including Passenger, Ultra High Performance, Commercial / Light Truck, and Pneumatic Forklift Tyres, we also do puncture repairs and rotations.

Bought a set of wheels off these guys over email, they arrived only 3 days after payment and included center caps, spline nuts, and hub rings that I was not expecting, all in the correct size/fitment. very impressed by the service and turnaround, and look awesome mounted to my car. Staff and manager that I spoke to were incredibly helpful. 10/10 experience.
Saturday morning, they were very quiet, dude sitting at his desk, no work on. Refused to fit two SH tyres to my car, despite me spending over $8k in the past with them. Loyalty means nothing. Last time I’ll be coming here, I’ll go somewhere where my business is valued.. Since got the tyres fitted, and also ordered new wheels and tyres for my other car, from a company who value their clients
Brought some rims for my MX5! Order them in the morning, they arrived and were fitted the same day! Recommend these guys to all my friends and def will be back for more
Service was not great, young guy didn't seem to know what he was doing. Muck up with tyres then no contact from the boss as promised. After talking to boss found him to be unhelpful and rude. Definitely not recommending this business to others.

Fantastic. Called in to enquire and book in for tyres I thought they’d need to be ordered but we’re already in stock and he did them straight away. Very unexpected but also greatly appreciated. Perfect service.
Best prices in town. Was quoted around $300 for a tire which I was able to source for almost $100 cheaper Australian designed tyre. The owner has worked in the tyre industry for decades and takes pride in his work. A great business to work!
Medium quality tyres at some of the most reasonable prices in Tauranga, fitted and balanced for free while you wait. I recommend asking for a quote over the phone. Recommended.

Welcoming feeling upon entry to the yard, the guys are polite and efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Wheel nuts were tightened properly with a torque wrench! This is something I've actually never seen before and am very happy to see being done. Pressures in the tyres were also properly done. Did you know that the label in your car from the manufacturer tells you to under inflate the tyres? I didn't, ours are at 38psi all around now and it feels so much better. Go here, these guys are great.
