Love the place to eat and relax. Good ambience ang great tasting food. I like the fried chicken for the starter, crispy and tasty. They also have a variety of cocktail drinks.
The food was so good we forgot to take pictures! The drinks were also amazing. Everything seemed well priced for the area. The atmosphere was really cool and very beautiful. I really wish I didn’t live across the globe from this place! They staff was really friendly and happy to help out some tourists with parking confusion.Recommended dishesStir-Fried Pork Belly GF on Request, Beef Rendang
Lovely, cozy and chic restaurant with a nice busy ambience. Good amount of customers which is always good especially as it was a Tuesday and gave it a lively, bustling vibe. Our server was awesome sorry I forgot your name! But you were awesome, thank you. We ordered the Stir fried pork belly and coconut rice, Yellow Chicken Curry and changed out the jasmine rice with coconut rice, 2 Roti chanai, 4 prawn dumplings, 1 mocktail ginger mohito and 1 Vietnamese coffee and 1 Roti Apple pie with vanilla ice cream, for 2 people. Total $117 Start with the "winners" for us. The Roti is hands-down 1000000/10. Sooo damn good, I wanted 10 thousand of them! The coconut rice, delish! The Roti Apple Pie - Chefs kiss amazing! Sadly the rest was hit and miss. My hubbies stir fried Pork belly, sooo flavourful with the coconut rice, Yum. But the portion was soo small with only 5 pieces of pork belly meat, and the pieces were tough for $26. The rice was $5 extra. The curry was average, not much flavour, and the portion size was disappointing againsmall bowl $34 i've had better at a food court 4 Prawn dumplings $12. Average really i've had better at night markets Madam Woo's came highly recommended but sorry to say that it was not hitting the spot for us. I don't often like to give such a low review but i've eaten at many many places, near and far, bougee and market stall and for the prices charged I want to have a stand-out and satisfying meal.
Nice decor and feel at Madam Woo. We had green tea, Roti with duck was delicious. Dumpling prawns were also excellent and freshly made. The veggie laksa was good, but could have included more vegetables. Great apple roti dessert
Pulled sticky pork and chicken hawker rolls were amazing! The stir fried pork belly was also good too.
The food is delicious! Highly recommend the beef rendang and the hawer roll roti The place is really stylish and chilled out for lunch. NOTE: They have outdoor seating on a balcony, under umbrellas.
We ordered via uber eats Flavourful 5 Portion size and cost -4 See pics for reasons why Beef Rendang $36 Five spice Fried Chicken $17 And thats the cost excluding uber eats fees. The rice container came with the Beef Rendang.
We got the duck hawker roll and char kway teow. I was warned the char kway teow was spicy but as someone who can handle a medium spice I don't seek out hot sauce and I avoid hot pepper seeds, but don't mind a hot flavor in my meals it was really good!Food: 5/5
Lovely flavours and well refined dishes. Staff are very attentive and all meals are served beautifully presented. The flavours are just adequate, and not overwhelming. There are lots of options to choose from, to fit everyone's needs.
Gave a bad review because of the portion size and the response I got from Madam Woo. We ordered honey soy squid for a takeaway delivery through Uber and there was literally only seven small pieces of squid in the box count it for yourself in the photo attached. It was supposed to be a main for dinner but the portion size was so tiny that it was suitable only for an entree. I called Madam Woo to let them know and the lady on the phone instantly put the blame on the Uber company. What?! Did Uber cook the meal? No, your chef did, so why contact Uber about your tiny portion size? The lady said they know their portion size is small and have received complaints about it before also. Then do something about it, don't just say you know and do nothing. Anyway, don't think we will be ordering from them again. Poor portion size, poor customer service.
