Love the vibe here!! They offer a great selection in the menu but would appreciate a more authentic approach, closer to true Malaysian flavours. Overall we had a great experience here and will definitely come back.
Beautiful restaurant in the middle of Victoria Street. Under new management, the cuisine is legitimately . Little we know how delicious this regional meal is. The presentation and portion was on the spot. The internal decorations are well placed and clean. The chicken meal was super tender and well seasoned. Toilets were super fancy and nice. Certainly a pleasant dining experience to go for.
We finally visited for the first time last night and we will definitely go regularly from now on. Welcoming and professional FOH, nice tasty food, well priced and lots of flavors. And different to other places. The restaurant is clean and cozy for a fancy or casual night out.
I be really enjoyed my experience at Lazat. I wish I could rate it higher but I felt that the flavours were dialled back a bit in relation to Malaysian food. The laksa is recommended. Overall a worthwhile experience. Dietary restrictions: Halal
Being pregnant in my 2nd trimester, I've been hit hard with the biggest cravings for anything Malaysian. So today it was a lucky thing my nose led me to the front of this restaurant. Both my husband and I loved the place and the service. The food was amazing. Simple menu, but everything we ordered really hit the spot and the portions were quite generous. I had to "help" the husband finish his curry laksa. We will be back next time to try the dessert menu
Excellent food with fresh ingredients. Attentive staff. Great value. One of the better Laksas in NZ and one of the few places that have chicken rendang on request.

It's finally time to review your delicious dishes especially "Curry Laksa" as it's my wife's favourite dish and I have tried the lamb dish last week recommended by your friendly staff definitely loved it very much! Also all the meats are 100% Halal, Cheers.
