Luggate Hotel

Luggate Hotel is a fantastic country pub with great food and atmosphere. Friendly staff and a awesome garden bar. Plenty of entertainment on a regular basis. Cold beer and good people! What more could you ask for.... a courtesy coach?... they got one of those too!

Good menu to select from and well cooked/presented. Can easily vouch for the Whitebait Fritter special - they don't skimp on the Whitebait quantity. Historical atmosphere both inside and outside - similar to the Cardrona Hotel. Menu pricing in the middle-upper range, but still good value. Will be back again.

After 40 years it still a great place to stop for a cold one

There was a sad lady that served us. Terrible menu. Almost fawlty towers service. Will never go again. The lady at the counter really didn not care that we were there. What a waste of an great venue

Step back in time and learn a lot of the history of the area while enjoying a local ale.

The buger was very nice. The wait of 90min wait was far too long given they where not the busy. Seems to be only 2 staff working. The cook kept going to the shop next door. What is with that??

Well hard ask a question about gluten free food and got an abrupt no apart from that food was ok and came out quick
