Lucky 8

Came here last night and had an awesome time! All the food was great! I like that the menus are online! So much easier to order imo. Staff were so nice and hospitable. Would 100% recommend. Photos do no justice! Was too hungry to take photos lol

Had a wonderful family lunch at Lucky 8 in Ponsonby. Friendly staff made everyone feel welcome, and the shared plates were tasty and filling with yummy dumplings and skewers.nThe food smelled great and had fun flavours that kids loved too we got full after just a few dishes. Highly recommend for families.

Good food and interesting concept. Good value on the cocktails. The restaurant however can be very loud and ordering food requires you to use your phone, which can be less accessible to older people or tourists on low internet data.

We went to Lucky 8 for lunch last year and decided to try their Peking duck special lunch. The food was quite nice and enjoyable. BUT peking duck is dry. Overall, the price was very reasonable for what we received, making it good value for money.
