Ada Restaurant was the perfect spot to celebrate our three birthdays. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure our dining experience was top-notch. The menu offered a variety of deliciousnscrumptious options. The staff even sang for us and surprised which was a special treat for the birthday guests. Overall, Ada Restaurant exceeded our expectations and made our birthday celebration truly unforgettable.
Lovely first experience of a brunch date last weekend. Have had a couple of false starts with booking in dinner and then having to cancel, so this was very short notice and very enjoyable.nnTeam were friendly and engaged, coffee great, and one of the best mushrooms on toast guys!! Loved it will be back for sure.nn**4 star on atmosphere only because it was a bit cold inside as it was cold outside. Other than that would have been a 5 star.
It was our first time here, and we were pleasantly surprised.nnThe service was great, the food was amazing.nnWe had two of the breads, a fish dish as an entree that was the hit of the evening, the beef was amazing, the crab was great.nnThe venue is in a hotel and the theme is of an old convent - different and interesting.nnA place that will see us again.
A beautiful restaurant set in an old church. Food is inspired by Māori cuisine. The menu is modern and exciting. Overall the food was pretty good but the Snapper was exceptional! I did find wait times between dishes/removing dishes to be a bit long as well as having all our mains brought out at once aside from the fish which was brought out about half an hour later which has to then be eaten on its own.
A really beautiful experience eating Maori delicacies with an edge. We had the share menu for 3 females, fave was the coconut fish aka probably the best raw fish I’ve ever eaten. Book in advance to get a good seat.nEnjoyed the surrounding artwork on the walls walking in…the trees and candlesticks, the lighting, the music. Overall a lovely evening had with friends.nWould love to see what this very cute, talented chef can do with pāua, crayfish, mussels, oysters, kina or wild game. Highly recommend. Should’ve taken more photo's, too busy eating…
