Wonderful caring, friendly and professional. We are so thankful to the ED team for admitting my husband so fast with injuries from a mountain bike accident. Thank you to the nurses on the ward who were very attentive and compassionate. Thank you to the surgery team who were very knowledgeable and understanding. Thank you to Sue and the pain management team that listened and sorted out the best treatment for pain. Thank you to the ladies who bought the food in and who were very thoughtful and caring. Lastly thank you to the parking warden who was immensely understanding and helped us with parking for our motorhome. You are all a credit to Hutt Hospital! Andy & Jo
If you're the kind of person who likes a dismissive and uncaring triage supervisor, you'll really enjoy the Hutt ED. While the reception staff, and initial triage nurse were lovely and helpful, the attitude of the supervising nurse screamed "I hate patients" and "how dare you waste my time with your petty complaint" which, from our perspective, was less than ideal. Lacking empathy, basic courtesy and with the bedside manner of an angry hornet, this person is part of why our public health system is viewed as a dysfunctional mess. Seriously, is it too hard to at least pretend not to hate the people coming in for help? Oh, and the triage was wildly inaccurate too, so there's that. If you can afford to, go to after hours, because they won't treat you like a piece of gum they just stepped on.
Why are there no parks for pregnant women? Had to park three blocks away and walk in the stinking heat for 20 minutes and then wait another 40 minutes for my maternity appointment as she was spending so much time with person before me then when it came my turn she rushed the appointment so badly it took all of five minutes and she mucked up my bookings when I pointed out faults I was argued with and dismissed. Luckily they have a lovely receptionist who sorted latter for me. No apology for mucking my appointment to start with and no apology for making me wait so long then rushes me out the door! come on ! Also sort the parking for pregnant women even the supermarket has maternity car parks visitors should not get a park ahead of people who are actually using the service

Great experience visiting the Hutt Hospital Radiology. The stuff are friendly at Radiology. I can tell by the way they greet their patients they genuinely care. Women make the world go around.

World class service for planned medical care referred by GP, Specialists, Emergency hospital treatment by Ambulance or Helicopter. I guess if you arrive at A&E for normal GP treatment you may wait many hours for medical care. Hutt Hospital A&E department is for emergency treatment not to replace Emergency GP's or 24/7 GPs Practices!
The staff make this place. If they loose the maternity nurses and staff we are screwed. Great experience in a run down under funded hospital. All staff went above and beyond. Thank you
My 7month old baby is crying for 3 hours so we went to the hospital. Horrible service. No response from staff members. Even they didn't care about it.i will never go again.
Have been in Hutt Hospital from 13th May and have been very impressed with the Quality of the Meals, Breakfast ,lunches and Diners. I have been in and out of Hospital over the last 5 years and the standard has improved immensely so congtatulations to all those involved in creating the menus and creating the delectable food that you are now providing to your clients.
