Food was delicious but did take a bit of time, however they did seem quite busy.Our waitress teya or Taya was amazing and ensured we were well taken care of telling us about my dads free birthday dessert and saved us some money. Only real downfall was the wait for food, but they were busy and our waitress gave us great service during this period, offering constant updates and extra drinks, and the guy at the front counter, when we got up to pay and mentioned the wait he was quite flippant, but it could have been a bad night for him as he did sound quite sick. Went with a sports team of under 10s, 13 kids. Staff handled it so well! Food was great. Lived up to expectations and memories of enjoying lonestar over a decade ago. Thank you. We will be back! Only critic would be that the adults food took a while to come out, so we ran out of time for desert Food: 5/5

Was super busy, service was meh...... but the food was amazing. My wife and I shared the Lamborghini, my new fav. Highly recommend the food not so much the rest of the experience.Food: 5/5

Lovely service from our waiter. Very busy. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing and not worth the money. Entrées were sub par. Weird smells from the salmon dish. Drinks were flat. Would definitely recommend going elsewhere or for the restaurant to revamp their menu.

Subaverage place for dining compared to all the other options available all around Hamilton. Quite surprised to see the place packed busy all night. Food is bad, staff lack fine detail, extremely long wait for the food to come out. Overall left with subaverage experience. Will be my last resort option.

Felt like being hurded into a catle pen. Booked for 2 early in the day, turned up to be directed to bar to eat. Had to pay as you go at the bar so every time we needed drinks or service had to go to the bar and pay again. People behind us had to clear their own tables. Food turned up had to ask for cutlery salt and pepper. Food ok, staff friendly but sooooo disorganized. Would have had desert and couple more drinks but got sick of self service. Potty we were looking forward to a nice night out. Very very sub par service won't be back.

Staff made us feel very uncomfortable so got up to leave then the guy at the counter said that’s alright & said we didn’t have to pay anything then I walked outside to take a phone call then he bullied my gf into paying $117 & we only had a cocktail & garlic bread. Absolutely terribleFood: 1/5

Wasn't overly happy with my meal which was a steak meal & supposed to be medium cooked. But was more rare with a slight crust on it. At no point did our waiter Reagan come check if our meals were OK. We did not have any salt & pepper at our table so I had to get up & steal some from another table myself, as our waiter was no where to be seen. We 2 of us had a large group next to us & our waiter & others were keen to see to their needs etc. Once that group left, we then had more of our waiters attention. But I wasn't impressed by the wait staff except the drinks lady was the only one that smiled at us all night. We've been to Lone Star for many years even when it was in the main street of Hamilton. It's not improving with age. Cheers Ros Dietary restrictions: I am Gluten intolerant and Lone Star is a good place for GF meals.

Service very slow tonight. Waited well over an hour for our mains to arrive. When one of our people went and asked how much longer, the waitress just rolled her eyes with 'can't you see how busy we are' look. One of us ordered rump steak, and we were all extremely disappointed to see a large piece of very thin steak slapped on the plate. Worst experience at Lonestar that we have ever had.
