Little Nessie Cafe

Coffee is AMAZING! My husband and I have been travelling the South Island for the past week and this was the best coffee we had so far! The food was really delicious as well. Thank you to the team for a great breakfast experience.

First time here, will definitely be back. Best coffee I’ve had in ages and food was excellent. I had the Benne Burger crispy - actually crispy!! - bacon, fried egg, cheddar & hollandaise and my partner had the Reuben toastie from the cabinet. It was superb. Pleasant place to relax and enjoy excellent coffee and food!

The name was cute and reviews were good so I gave this place a try. Really friendly service which probably is the biggest pro! But the breakfast wrap was really disappointing. I thought you could not go wrong with the ingredients but I don’t know if it was the tortilla with an odd taste or maybe the hash brown was freezer burned, but something was off. The iced latte was also just okay.

Fantastic cafe! Cannot recommend this place enough. The Scottish Brekky Burger was phenomenal and I’m not just saying that as a Scotsman, the coffee was excellent and the brownie caramel slice super tasty. The staff are very friendly and the vibe is wonderful.

I had the Black Magic burger and iced mocha, I'm happy to report that the 4.9 rating is certainly well deserved! The food was great and very reasonably priced which is nearly unheard of for cafés these days, service was made you feel like a regular, which leant into the homey feel. If you're ever in the area definitely pay them a visit.
