Family and I have left after going here for over 20 years. Absolutely horrible treatment from Reception on several occasions as well as doctors. Firstly Dr Santha Pamula a week after a family member died - she didn't know him asked me how he died and very inappropriately why.... this was extremely upsetting, as i just wanted sleeping pills... it was my first visit with her and made me immediately break down. Reception wasn't too sensitive to the situation as i had to relay all this in the waiting room in front of everyone as i cried, their response was to rebook me with my regular doctor following this - however i never received an apology, instead i would just receive glares from Dr Santha every time i ever saw her at the practice.nSecondly my Mum needed an appointment and she came in to reception to book - the reception completely lied to her and told her that Dr Paula Munro had left the practice and that she wasnt allowed to book.nAfter a long time coming here, the place has definitely worsened overtime, very bitter staff. The only doctor i ever enjoyed seeing is Dr Paula Munro.nBeyond that, i would never recommend this place.
Receptionist Janice is extremely rude, had a booking error and when trying to sort and rebook she kept talking over me, very dismissive tone and then when she decided she was done she hung up. In this role you need a frontline person who has empathy and an appreciation that the person on the other end of the line is usually unwell and not coming in for fun! Very disappointing and well below the level of care expected for this nature of role.
My daughter went for a blood test last week. She unfortunately got a mean lady called Sheila. My family is very loyal to this medical centre and expect better treatment. My daughter got scolded by Sheila taking her blood test, saying she should know to prepare better since she's had blood tests before. Please treat your clients better.
If I could give a 0 I would. My family and I have been going to this clinic for 20+ years. You could see your regular doctor most times and be treated with care, respect and empathy. All the nurses were amazing to deal with and the receptionists very polite. Now you can only get in with a nurse practitioner. A sign of the times! Every time you go in, there are different doctors. Over the past 2 years, I have had been appalled at the attitude from the same particular nurses and receptionist Debbie.They make you feel be-littered and are basically downright rude. When trying to explain our situations, they “don’t want to listen” and come back at you with a condescending manner. I have been given the run around “twice now” regarding vaccines with “a lot” of conflicting information. Nurses appointments following a Dr’s appointment have been made, but nothing noted when turning up. This clinic has lost its personal touch which is really sad. When are you going to take heed of all the negative reviews and do something about it.
I get a blood test here done regularly and its always Sheila who does it. She's always so great at making me feel comfortable and being careful to not hurt me. Thank you!
