Story

Lighthouse Nelson is a locally owned and operated lighting store in the heart of Nelson, New Zealand.
We were known locally as Brewertons Lighting, and have been servicing Nelson in lighting and electrical from the old homestead on Collingwood Street for over 50 years.

Brewertons was one of the original Nelson suppliers for lighting and electrical, and has remained owned by the Brewerton family to this day. The Brewerton family has always been passionate about lighting and are well known in the Nelson region for their quality service and product. They have been supplying their loyal clients with the best lighting solutions for the past 50 years.

In recent times, Brewertons has been renamed ‘Lighthouse Nelson’ after joining the Lighthouse Lighting Group. Lighthouse Nelson is now owned and managed by Jenny Knight, who is the eldest daughter of founders Lester & Joice Brewerton.

Now, we are delighted to launch our furniture and home decor department STOREY.
