Le Marché Français Bistro is a licensed cafe, serving authentic French food using local and organic produce. The cafe is owned and operated by Veronique Sauzeau who was formerly the Chef at The French Embassy in Wellington. Veronique and team at Le Marché allow you to experience the French culture like no other. We can't wait for you to come in and enjoy our 'Tour De France' inspired cuisine, Bon Appétit!

Incredible food only matched by its brilliant, authentic service. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The chef is outstanding and the price is a steal.
Best creme brulee ever. Awesome service and food.
Shop and café. Authentique French food on premise or takeaway. Worth the trip. The chef makes wonders and is a lovely character. I recommend with all my heart.
The food is nice. It is in a funny spot, upstairs in what is essentially a lobby surrounded by offices. But if you are looking for an authentic French culinary experience in Wellington, you should try it.

Tucked upstairs and out of this way this place is great for a catchup with friends or family. Relax at the tables with coffee and some French pastry and enjoy the French atmosphere.
